The short version
OpenQuadro Community Edition is free, open-source software licensed under the MIT License. You can use, copy, modify, and distribute it, with no warranty of any kind. There is no account, subscription, or payment involved in this edition.
License
The source code is released under the MIT License. In summary: you are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software, provided the original copyright notice and license text are included in all copies or substantial portions of the software.
No warranty
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the software.
Your data, your responsibility
Because OpenQuadro Community Edition stores all data locally in your browser, you are solely responsible for backing up your data (via the export feature) and for any loss of data resulting from clearing browser storage, browser updates, device changes, or similar events.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the software for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others. Contributions to the open-source project are subject to the repository's contribution guidelines and code of conduct.
Future paid tiers
Future editions of OpenQuadro (Personal, Pro, Team) may introduce separate terms specific to paid features such as cloud sync, collaboration, or hosted services. Those terms will be presented separately before you opt into any such feature.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the "Last updated" date above will be revised and the change will be noted in the project's GitHub repository.
